ESE Coffee Pods

An Easy Serving Espresso Pod, or ESE coffee pod, is a small coffee ground disk (Coffee pod) packed in a paper filter.Each pod contains exact 7 grams of coffee ground and is compressed into a paper filter package. Pods are typically 44-45mm diameter in size for ESE pod coffee machines (ESE Standard) All our Italian ESE pods are biodegradable and compostable ! Note that ESE pods are smaller and more compact than those used in the Philips Senseo ® coffee machines. Premium Easy Serving Espresso pods are comparable to the average cup of hand-crafted espresso. Current pod technology produces a high volume of crema ( the foam created at the top of the cup ) and a taste that many consumers find comparable with what is available in current espresso bars. This assessment may be in part due to the lesser frequency of proper barista training by many coffee vendors.
